Trainee Estimating Engineer (Earthworks, Groundworks and Civil Engineering)

£25,000 - £35,000 + further education

 

Set out to be a fulfilling place of work that enhances people’s lives, this forward-thinking Civil-Engineering and Groundworks company are subcontractors to a variety of housebuilders including Keepmoat, Bellway, St Modwen and Miller Homes.

 

As  a Trainee Estimating Engineer you will be fully trained to:

  • Use your CAD skills to support the Estimating Department with measures
  • Produce accurate earthwork volumetric drawings on 3D Civils
  • Create cross section drawings from 3D earthwork drawings
  • To be able to interrogate construction drawings and information to determine construction depths
  • Liaise with clients technical/engineering department to request information that is required to produce earthwork models
  • Exposure to terrain models for GS operated plant

The position is office-based and includes some site visits (locally).
