Associate Director - Structural Engineering

They have a strong reputation for producing practical economic designs for a variety of projects in a variety of construction methods including multi-storey concrete and steel frame buildings. Their projects include residential, commercial (supermarkets, retail, cinemas, offices, museums, bars), education and healthcare.

As an Associate Director you'll be...

  • Working alongside the Group Director in managing engineering resources, client needs and ensuring all projects are delivered successfully
  • Contributing to the overall strategy for the structural function
  • Liaising with the clients, architect, designers and the build contractor
  • Managing a team of engineers
  • Responsible for design information for use by inhouse CAD technicians and other members of the design team 
  • Support in the promotion and growth of the company’s services

Must haves...

  • Structural Engineer with experience managing large residential/commercial schemes (traditional and piled foundations, multi storey concrete and steel frame)
  • Experience managing a team 
  • Able to undertake calculations if necessary
  • Knowledge of CAD techniques
